KOREM JSC Held a Meeting with CosinSolar (PRC)
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of renewable energy sources in the Republic of Kazakhstan, opportunities for attracting investment to the energy sector, as well as the participation of international companies in the implementation of renewable energy projects through renewable energy auctions.
The Chairman of the Management Board of KOREM JSC presented information on the Company’s activities as the organizer of renewable energy project auctions, the results of the auctions conducted, and further plans for the development of a competitive green energy market in Kazakhstan.
Particular attention was paid to modern solar power generation technologies, including Concentrated Solar Power (CSP), as well as the integration of energy storage systems and measures aimed at enhancing power system reliability amid the growing share of renewable energy sources.
Representatives of CosinSolar shared their experience in implementing solar energy projects, presented the technological solutions they apply, and expressed interest in exploring investment opportunities in the Kazakhstani market.
Following the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of further strengthening international cooperation, exchanging expertise, and introducing advanced technologies to achieve sustainable development and energy transition goals.
KOREM JSC continues its efforts to develop transparent and competitive mechanisms for selecting renewable energy projects and to expand cooperation with leading international companies in the energy sector.
