Meeting with representatives of USAID Central Asia, USEA and NARUC
оn February 18-19, meetings were held with representatives of the USAID regional program "Future Energy", the United States Energy Association (USEA) and the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC).
During the meeting, were discussed the issues of competition development, digitalization, information security and the potential for development of the regional energy market in Central Asia.
As a result of the meetings, an agreement was reached to establish further cooperation between the parties on the provision of technical and consulting assistance for the development of competition in the energy sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The USEA partnership with energy companies program, promotes the development of the potential of energy companies and other energy sector organizations in countries receiving USAID assistance to ensure efficient management and operation of energy systems, maintain the financial stability of enterprises, introduce new business models, and integrate various types of energy resources into the energy systems of these countries.
The energy regulatory partnership program implemented by NARUC, aims to empower regulators, create transparent energy markets, and improve regulatory efficiency to ensure sustainable development and achieve goals in the energy sectors of partner countries.
