On definition JSC KOREM as the auction organizer
The adopted amendments to the legislation on support of renewable energy sources are aimed at introducing a mechanism for selecting of renewable energy sources construction projects through auction instead of the existed system for renewable energy sources development support based on fixed tariffs.
Introduction of auction mechanism for selection of RES projects will provide an understandable and transparent process for selecting projects with the best economic indicators, which will minimize the impact on end-user tariffs due to introduction of RES-based generation.
Currently, regulatory acts are being prepared that will make it possible to implement amendments to the legislation.
Appointment of the JSC KOREM as the auction organizer is a new milestone in development of our company, which expands the range of services provided on the market of electric energy and confirms a high qualification of our company.
The JSC KOREM for its part initiated development of software aimed at holding auctions for selection of renewable energy sources projects and finalization of a corporate website on the basis of which interested parties will be able to find all the information concerned on this line of business.
