Qualification requirements:

The following qualification requirements are established for the Manager-Operator:

• education: higher (postgraduate) technical or economic;
• work experience: at least 1 (one) year in relevant fields
• knowledge of the regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan and internal regulatory documents of the Company relevant to the specifics of the Department's and the Company's activities.

The job duties of the Manager-Operator include:

• performing duties under the general supervision of the chief manager, the Department director, the supervising managing director and the Chairman of the Management Board of the Company, and in interaction with the Company's structural divisions;
• compliance with the requirements of the Company's internal documents;
• organizing and conducting centralized trading in electric energy and electric capacity;
• interaction with the system operator and the single buyer of electric energy on issues related to the organization and conduct of centralized trading in electric energy and electric capacity;
• conducting auction trading for the selection of renewable energy source projects, waste-to-energy projects, and construction of newly commissioned generating installations with a flexible generation mode (hereinafter – auction trading);
• providing consultations to operators of trading participants who are subjects of the wholesale electricity market of the Republic of Kazakhstan (WEM) on working in the electronic trading system;
• carrying out marketing activities and electricity market research;
• participating in the development of draft regulatory legal acts and internal regulatory documents of the Company on matters within the Department's competence;
• analyzing the results of centralized electricity trading;
• conducting contractual work at the enterprise in the following areas:
• agreement on participation in the centralized electricity trading market (hereinafter – the CTM agreement) between the Company and a subject of the wholesale electricity market of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter – WEM subject);
• CTM agreement with the Single Buyer.
• Contractual work at the enterprise means activities usually carried out in two cycles:

- concluding CTM agreements (preparation, execution, agreeing on terms with counterparties);

- organizing the execution of CTM agreements (operational activities, accounting, control, evaluation of progress and results).

• performing calculations, processing and analyzing data based on the submitted actual balance, and forming a unified register for the services rendered by the Company to ensure the readiness of the trading system for conducting centralized electricity trading (hereinafter – TSRE);
• monitoring the debts of WEM subjects;
• preparing and sending notification letters on the need to repay debts to the Company's WEM subjects;
• preparing documents on the Company's defaulters for further transfer to the Legal Support Department;
• preparing relevant reports on the results of the functioning of centralized trading in electric energy and electric capacity;
• fulfilling other assignments of the chief manager, director and the Company's management determined by the nature of the tasks handled by the Department.

1) application, in accordance with Appendix 2 of these Rules;

2) a copy of an identity document;

3) a copy of an education document;

4) a completed questionnaire, in accordance with Appendix 3 of these Rules;

5) information on the absence of corruption offenses by the person;

6) a certificate of no criminal record;

7) a resume.

At the candidate's discretion, other documents may be submitted that would allow the competition commission to determine the candidate's level of professional competence.
