Centralized trading for digital miners
Centralized trading of electric energy for digital miners is carried out daily according to the «Rules for organizing centralized trading of electric energy». Joint auctions are held for the Northern and Southern zones of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account the capacity of power transmission lines connecting the Northern and Southern zones of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan, whose participants are active digital miners only of the Northern and Southern zones of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as separate auctions for the Western zone of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan, whose participants are digital miners only of the Western zone of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Astana time, the main time of the trading session for the North - South zone of the EEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Western zone of the EEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The duration of the trading session is 30 minutes. The purchase price is determined by the stated price of the digital miner.
The system operator automatically provides the operator of the centralized trading market with the following information signed by the system operator using EDS:
1) quotas for the zones of the EEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan for digital miners with hourly volumes of power for purchase
2) the amount of residual capacity of the North-South transmission line.
A single buyer of electric energy automatically provides the operator of the centralized trading market with information about the amounts of prepayment of digital miners. The information on the prepayment amounts is transmitted digitally, signed by an employee of a single buyer of electric energy using an EDS.
Opening of the auction
The main time for submitting applications for the purchase of electric energy
Digital miners who have submitted applications for sale during the main time are given an additional opportunity to change the submitted applications for sale
During the trading session, digital miners have the opportunity to change the price and volume of electric energy in previously submitted applications within the prepaid amount by submitting an application instead of the previously submitted one
According to the results of the auction, the list of digital miners whose purchase orders were included in the trading volumes is determined
Approval of the daily schedule of production/consumption of electric energy by the System Operator.
The operator of the centralized trading market sends to the bidders and the single buyer, using e-mail, notifications of the results of the centralized bidding, indicating the transactions concluded at the centralized bidding, certain transaction prices for each hour of the operating day, the volumes of electric energy sold by the bidders.
Preliminary results of centralized electric energy trading for digital miners are available for viewing to digital miners after summing up at 10:15 a.m. (Astana time) days preceding operational trading.
Centralized auctions of electric energy for digital miners are conducted by the method of bidding for a price increase.
Applications for participation in the auction are submitted using the Internet.
The period of provision of services for the supply of electric energy is one calendar day.
According to the results of the trading session, a preliminary register is formed.
Following the results of the trading session, a preliminary register of winners included in the quota volume is formed, indicating:
1) names of digital miners included in the quota volume;
2) hourly volumes of electric energy for each digital miner;
3) hourly electricity purchase prices of each digital miner.
If centralized trades are declared invalid, the operator of the centralized trading market sends the results of centralized trades for digital miners with a zero value to the system operator in digital form.
