On June 27, 2023, on the basis of JSC «Kazakhstan Electric Energy and Capacity Market Operator» (hereinafter referred to as the Company), full–time training was held on the use of the electronic trading system for centralized trading of electric energy with a Single buyer of electric energy for energy-producing organizations.

Videoconferencing was provided for representatives of energy-producing organizations who do not have the opportunity to attend the training in person.

Representatives of energy-producing organizations had the opportunity to visually familiarize themselves and understand the mechanism of using the trading platform. The principles of operation of the electronic trading system during centralized trading of electric energy, as well as the logic of the application of technical parameters and general principles of pricing were explained.  

During the meeting, the participants were told in detail about the risks and responsibilities of employees of energy-producing organizations for their actions in the electronic trading system of the Company.

Following the results of the meeting, in order to consolidate the information received, the Company conducted centralized auctions of electric energy in a simulated mode. At the end of the simulation bidding, a discussion was held in the «question-answer» format. Exhaustive answers were given to all the questions asked by the participants. All participants received certificates of completion of training.
