A New Managing Director Appointed at JSC "KOREM"
On November 11, 2024, Dauren Tulegenovich Shakenov assumed the duties of Managing director for market and trading system development of JSC «Kazakhstan electricity and power market operator».
Shakenov Dauren Tulegenovich was born in 1982 in Pavlodar Region. He graduated from Pavlodar State University named after S. Toraighyrov, obtaining a degree in electrical engineering with a specialization in "Electrical Power Stations," and a master's degree in "Electric Power Engineering".
He began his career in 2006 as an electrician the maintenance of electrical equipment at the IV class of JSC "Aluminum of Kazakhstan", Electrical Workshop.
During his career, which spans more than 15 years, Dauren Tulegenovich held various positions - from a technician to a deputy chief dispatcher in the National Dispatch Center of the System Operator of JSC "KEGOC".
Awarded the title of "Honored Power Engineer of the CIS EPC"
