On September 6, 2022, JSC«KOREM» held a meeting with representatives of the Association of Renewable Energy of Kazakhstan, China Power International Development Limited (abbreviated as «CPID»).

«CPID» was registered in Hong Kong in March 2004. It is the first central energy company in China on the Main Stock Exchange of Hong Kong since October of the same year (stock code: HK.2380), is a subsidiary of STATE POWER INVESTMENT CORPORATION (abbreviated name «SPIC»).

During the meeting, questions were raised about the rules and procedure for participation in auctions for the selection of renewable energy projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the proposal of the Chinese side for the construction of a large demonstration project of renewable energy with energy storage systems was also considered.
