On October 27-29, the 19th Kazakhstan International Exhibition "Energy, Electrical Engineering and Power Engineering" - P о werexpo Almaty 2021 will be held at the Atakent Exhibition Center .

The electric power industry continues to be the basic industry for the economy of Kazakhstan today. Effective development and stable functioning of the energy sector are the basis for economic growth and an integral factor in attracting investment. Of course, the time for new global challenges has come for the energy complex. The COVID-19 pandemic has had both short and long term impacts on the country's energy sector. As the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, already noted in 2021 in his speech at a meeting of the State Commission on a State of Emergency: “It is obvious that the energy sector will require significant reforms. After the crisis, it will not be the same. In the medium term, the movement towards green energy is an urgent need. " Global trends accelerate decision-making to diversify not only the economy, but also the energy sector, in particular. All this speaks of the upcoming changes in the global and Kazakhstani energy sector under the influence of the COVID-19 crisis. Alternative energy is becoming more and more relevant every day, which affects the development of renewable energy sources. The global compound annual growth rate of the installed capacity of renewable energy sources, starting from 2011 to 2020, amounted to 8%, while the share of renewable energy sources in the installed capacity of the global energy industry increased from 25% to 37% over the past 10 years.

Representatives of the largest domestic and international companies will discuss topical issues of energy conservation, development of renewable energy sources and increasing energy efficiency at the P о werexpo Almaty 2021 exhibition . This year more than 70 companies from 10 countries of the world will present their latest developments and achievements... Companies from Austria, Belarus, Germany, Kazakhstan, China, Moldova, Slovakia, the USA and the Czech Republic have already confirmed their participation. Collective stands of the Russian Federation, presented by companies from the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Moscow Region, the Chuvash Republic and the Volga Region International Trade Center, will present at the exhibition unique developments in the field of energy, lighting technology and energy saving. Scientific and technical developments and achievements, progressive solutions and technologies in the field of energy and energy saving will be presented by such companies as Horus Energy from Moldova, Altec Worldwide from the USA, ETW Energietechnik from Germany, KIWA SK, SRO from Slovakia.
