JSC “KOREM” informs that on November 12, 2025, auction trading was conducted for the selection of renewable energy source (RES) projects of the biomass power plant (BioPP) type with an installed capacity of 20 MW.

Based on the results of the trading session, one company was admitted to participate in the auction trading. In this regard, guided by subparagraph 2) of paragraph 67 of the Rules for Organizing and Conducting Auction Trading approved by Order of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 21, 2017 No. 466 (the number of participants submitting applications to the trading system must be at least two), the auction trading was declared unsuccessful.

As a result of the auction trading, no winner was determined.

In this regard, in accordance with the announcement of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan

(https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/energo/press/press-releases/details/15450?lang=ru), the repeated auction trading for the selection of BioPP projects with a capacity of 20 MW will be held on February 10, 2026, at 15:00.

As the Auction Organizer, JSC “KOREM” informs that the acceptance of documents and registration of applicants for participation in the repeated auction trading are carried out in accordance with the Rules for Organizing and Conducting Auction Trading, starting 30 (thirty) calendar days before the auction date and ending 5 (five) working days before the auction start date.
