On the Energy Balance Through 2035
Minister Bolat Akchulakov noted that an Energy Balance through 2035 was developed per the President's instruction, modeling the development of the energy complex with forecasts for production and consumption. By 2035, consumption will reach about 153 billion kWh while output from existing sources will fall below 89 billion kWh, requiring massive new low-carbon generation including RES and potentially nuclear power.
