JSC “KOREM” announces the commencement of registration for participation in the auction for the construction of small hydropower plants (Small HPPs).
JSC “KOREM” informs that registration for participation in the auction for the construction of small hydropower plants (Small HPPs) across the zones of the Unified Electric Power System of the Republic of Kazakhstan will commence on August 4, 2026.
Auction Date: September 4, 2026, at 3:00 PM;
Document Submission Period: From August 4, 2026, to August 27, 2026 (inclusive);
UPS Zone: All zones;
Renewable Energy Source Type: Small Hydropower Plant (Small HPP);
Installed Capacity to be Procured: 50 MW;
Maximum Auction Price: KZT 41.23/kW*h;
Required Commissioning Date: Within 60 months from the date of signing the contract;
Contract Term: 20 years.
Conditions for Applicants:
To participate in the auction, applicants are required to:
- register in the Organizer’s trading system database;
- submit the required documents electronically in accordance with Clause 29 of the Rules No. 466.
Please also be informed that applicants must submit the original bid security documents to the Financial Settlement Center (LLP “Financial Settlement Center for the Support of Renewable Energy Sources”) no later than 2 (two) business days prior to the auction date.
