“KOREM" JSC invites you to participate in auctions for renewable energy projects in the second half of 2026
JSC “Kazakhstan Electricity and Power Market Operator” informs that the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan has approved the schedules for renewable energy auctions for the second half of 2026.
In this regard, KOREM JSC invites all interested parties planning to implement renewable energy projects in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the auctions.
Auction Period:
- September 25, 2026;
- November 25, 2026;
- November 26, 2026..
Total Installed Capacity: 170 MW, including
- Solar Power Plants (SPPs) – 50 MW;
- Hydroelectric Power Plants (HPPs) – 100 MW;
- Bioenergy Power Plants (BioPPs) – 20 MW.
The 2026 auction schedules also contain information on reserved land plots for renewable energy facilities planned for construction, as well as information on the possibility of connection to the electricity grid connection points of energy transmission organizations, including restrictions on the connected capacity and the number of new connections.
