Final free auction trades successfully completed
On September 25, 2026, free auction trades were held for the selection of projects for the construction of a solar power plant (SPP) in the Northern zone of the Unified Power System of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Karaganda region) with a total installed capacity of 50 MW.
2 companies were admitted to participate in the auction trades. During the trading session, participants submitted two price bids, with a total volume of submitted applications amounting to 50 MW.
Based on the results of the auction trades, AA SOLAR LLP was recognized as the winner. The installed capacity of the project is 50 MW, the auction price is 34.60 tenge/kWh (excluding VAT);
Representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Natural Monopolies Regulation Committee of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, RFC for RES Support LLP and the Kazakhstan Electric Power Association took part in the trades as observers. The observers confirmed the transparency and correctness of the electronic trading system, operated by KOREM JSC.
