Another seminar was held in preparation for the auction for selection of RES projects in Nur-Sultan
The seminar was organized by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the support of JSC KAZAKH INVEST NC, UNDP, USAID, JSC KOREM and FSC of RE LLP.
The seminar was attended by potential auction participants from Kazakhstan and foreign companies.
During the seminar, the representative of the Ministry of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan told the participants in detail about the changes in legal acts related to the implementation of RES projects in Kazakhstan. It was told about the pilot project of 50 MW SPP prepared by the Ministry of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with UNDP, the feature of which is the auction site with the developed pre-project documentation and the main technical parameters of the project, including the scheme of power distribution, environmental impact assessment, etc. The representative of JSC KAZAKH INVEST NC spoke about the investment preferences available to investors who seek to invest in the renewable energy sector of Kazakhstan. Information about the USAID program and the development of a guide for investors on the implementation of renewable energy projects in Kazakhstan is also given. The representatives of JSC KOREM and FSC of RE LLP told about the order of holding of the auction and receipt of financial guarantee of application for participation in the auction.
