Another seminar was held in preparation for the auction for selection of RES projects in Nur-Sultan
The seminar was organized by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the support of JSC KAZAKH INVEST NC, UNDP, USAID, JSC KOREM and FSC of RE LLP.
The seminar was attended by 9 potential auction participants from Kazakhstan and foreign companies.
During the seminar, the representative of the Ministry of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan told the participants in detail about the changes in legal acts related to the implementation of RES projects in Kazakhstan in 2019.
The UNDP told in detail about the pilot project of the SPP 50 MW located in the Turkestan region near the village of Shaulder, which was prepared jointly with the Ministry of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main feature of this project is auctioning the site with developed pre-project documentation and basic technical parameters of the project, including the scheme of power distribution, environmental impact assessment, etc. You can get these documentation on website of the auction organizer at https://vie.korem.kz/rus/uchastie_v_torgah/proect_auction/.
The representative of JSC KAZAKH INVEST NC spoke about the investment preferences available to investors who seek to invest in the renewable energy sector of Kazakhstan.
Also there was given information about the USAID program and development of guide for investors on the implementation of renewable energy projects in Kazakhstan and explained in detail about the innovations in the guide of 2019 edition.
Representatives of the JSC KOREM and the FSC of RE LLP told about the procedure of auction and obtaining financial guarantee of application for participation in auction. Also, the representative of the JSC KOREM told in detail about the innovations in the trading system for auction in accordance with the Rules of organizing and holding auctions.
