Kazakhstan Energy Week-2023 is being held in Astana from October 3-6, 2023/ XV Eurasian KAZENERGY Forum.  Kazakhstan Energy Week-2023 - international energy sector event in the Caspian and Central Asian regions.

The event attracts the attention of over 2.5 thousand delegates from more than 300 companies representing more than 50 countries of the world. It is held with the support of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the KAZENERGY Association.  The guests of the Forum for many years have been influential political figures, recognized experts with a worldwide reputation.

On the first day of the World Energy Week, the key speaker at the panel session «Digital Electric Power Industry: the future that has come» was the Chairman of the Board of JSC «Kazakhstan Electric Energy and Capacity Market Operator» Kairat Rakhimov.

Kairat Rakhimov, noted - «Digitalization of the energy sector is crucial to achieving zero emissions by 2060 and supporting an intelligent and flexible energy system.».

The speaker presented examples of achieving carbon neutrality through the digitalization of energy. He outlined the existing global trends and available technologies for the development of the electric power industry.

At the end of his speech, the head of JSC «KOREM» presented projects for the creation of a «Digital Energy Platform» and the implementation of a «Digital Generation Map» as a new tool for business transformation in the energy industry.
