JSC «Kazakhstan Electric Energy and Capacity Market Operator» invites energy-producing organizations to participate in centralized auctions of electric capacity in the zones of the Unified Electric Power System of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which will be held on November 17 and 20, 2023.

On November 17, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. (Astana time), centralized auctions of electric power will be held in the Northern and Southern zones of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account the capacity of the North-South transmission line.

On November 20, 2023, centralized auctions of electric capacity will be held in the Western zone of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

- from 10:00 a.m. (Astana time) in the Mangistau region of the Western zone of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account the capacity of the power transmission line towards the Mangistau power hub;

- from 16:00 h. (Astana time) joint auctions for the West Kazakhstan and Atyrau regions of the Western zone of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account the capacity of the power transmission line towards the West Kazakhstan power hub.

It should be noted that for information information about the increased marginal tariff for services to maintain the availability of electric power up to 1065 thousand tenge/MW*month (Order No. 376 approved by the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 23, 2023 «On Amendments to the Order of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 3, 2015 No. 465 «On Approval of marginal tariffs for the service of maintaining the availability of electric power»).
