To conduct centralized trading of electric power, the following basic data were submitted to KOREM JSC by a Single buyer and System operator:

• forecast demand for electric power in the Northern zone of the UES RK (including the Almaty region) - 3943.82 MW;
• forecast demand for electric power in the Southern zone of the UES RK - 1235.09 MW;
• forecast demand for electric power in the Mangystau region of the Western zone of the UES RK - 464.69 MW;
• forecast demand for electric power in the West Kazakhstan and Atyrau regions of the Western zone of the UES RK - 321.83 MW;
• the volume of bandwidth of transmission lines connecting the Northern and Southern zones of the UES RK - 900 MW;
• the volume of bandwidth of transmission lines connecting the Mangistau region of the Western zone of the UES RK connecting the West Kazakhstan and Atyrau regions of the Western zone of the UES RK - 50 MW;
• the volume of bandwidth of transmission lines connecting Western Kazakhstan and the Atyrau region West zone of the UES RK with the Mangistau region of the Western zone of the UES RK - 130 MW.

 In order to limit the unreasonable increase in prices for electric power, the trading system used the maximum tariff for the service for maintaining the availability of electric power in the amount of 590 thousand tg/MW per month (without VAT), approved by the order of the Minister of energy of the RK No. 465 dated July 3, 2015.

18 November from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM Nur-Sultan time, joint centralized auctions of electric power for the Northern and Southern zones of the UES RK were held, taking into account the bandwidth of power transmission lines connecting the Northern and Southern zones of the UES RK.

 Forecast demand for electric power in the Northern and Southern zones of the UES RK was 5 178.91 MW, including in the Northern zone of the UES RK - 3 943.82 MW and in the Southern zone of the UES RK - 1 235.09 MW. The volume of bandwidth of transmission lines connecting the Northern and Southern zones of the UES RK is 900 MW.

 During the centralized auction, applications were submitted for the sale of electric power from 21 energy-producing organizations with a total volume of 5,875 MW.

 According to the results of centralized auctions, the selected volume of electric power for these zones amounted to 5,178.91 MW, including 4,777.91 MW for the Northern zone of the UES RK and 401 MW for the Southern zone of the UES RK, with the cost of maintaining the availability of electric power in the range from 590 to 585 thousand tenge for each MW per month (without VAT). The average weighted price based on the results of centralized trading of electric power was 589.91 thousand tg/MW per month (without VAT).

 At the end of the trading session, 21 participants were sent relevant notifications about the winners indicating the necessity to conclude contracts with a Single buyer for the service of maintaining the availability of electric power.

 19 November from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM Nur-Sultan time, Centralized auctions of electric power were held in the Mangistau region of the Western zone of the UES RK, taking into account the bandwidth of transmission lines connecting the West Kazakhstan and Atyrau regions of the Western zone of the UES RK.

 The forecasted demand for electric power in the Mangistau region was 464.69 MW. The amount of bandwidth of transmission lines connecting the Mangistau region of the Western zone of the UES RK with the West Kazakhstan and Atyrau regions of the Western zone of the UES RK is 50 MW.

 During the centralized auction, applications were submitted for the sale of electric power from 6 energy-producing organizations with a total volume of 804 MW.

 According to the results of centralized auctions, the selected volume of electric power amounted to 464.69 MW, including 414.69 MW for the Mangistau region, 50 MW for the West Kazakhstan and Atyrau regions of the Western zone of the UES RK, with the cost of maintaining the availability of electric power in the range from 590 to 220 thousand tenge for each MW per month (without VAT). The average weighted price based on the results of centralized trading of electric power was 550.19 thousand tg/MW per month (without VAT).

 As a result, for the entire history of centralized auctions, these auctions recorded the maximum reduction in the cost of services for maintaining the availability of electric power by 63% of the approved maximum tariff.

 The relevant notifications about the winners indicating the necessity to conclude contracts with a Single buyer for the service of maintaining the availability of electric power at the end of the trading session were sent to 2 participants.

 19 November from 04:00 PM to 05:00 PM Nur-Sultan time, joint centralized auctions of electric power were held in the West Kazakhstan and Atyrau regions of the Western zone of the UES RK, taking into account the bandwidth of transmission lines connecting the West Kazakhstan and Atyrau regions with the Mangistau region of the Western zone of the UES RK.

 The forecast demand for electric power in the West Kazakhstan and Atyrau regions of the Western zone of the UES RK was 321.83 MW. The amount of bandwidth of transmission lines connecting Western Kazakhstan and the Atyrau region West zone of the UES RK with the Mangistau region of the Western zone of the UES RK was 130 MW.

 During the centralized auction, applications were submitted for the sale of electric power from 6 energy-producing organizations with a total volume of 370 MW.

According to the results of centralized auctions, the selected volume of electric power for these auctions amounted to 321.83 MW, for the West Kazakhstan and Atyrau regions of the Western zone of the UES RK - 296.83 MW, for the Mangistau region - 25 MW, with the cost of maintaining the availability of electric power in the range from 575 to 570 thousand tenge for each MW per month (without VAT). The average weighted price according to the results of centralized trading of electric power was 572.02 thousand tg/MW per month (without VAT).

  At the end of the trading session, the relevant notifications about the winners were sent to 6 participants indicating the necessity to conclude contracts with a Single buyer for the service of maintaining the availability of electric power.

 Representatives of the Ministry of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and FSC of RE LLP participated as observers at centralized auctions of electric capacity.
