On June 8, 2022, was hold the second online webinar on the topic "Auctions for the construction of newly commissioned generating plants with a maneuverable generation mode".
The organizer of this webinar was KOREM JSC with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC NC KAZAKH INVEST, USAID “Power the future» regional program and the RFC for RES Support LLP.
The purpose of this webinar is to explain the system of organizing and conducting auctions for the construction of newly commissioned generating units with a maneuverable generation mode in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Darkhan Akhmetov, the deputy director of the electricity development department of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, informed the participants that the deadline for accepting documents from applicants for participation in auctions for the construction of newly commissioned generating plants with a maneuverable generation mode in the Kyzylorda region with a capacity of 240 MW is postponed from June 12, 2022 to June 13, 2022.
Leyla Gimranova, the representative of NC KAZAKH INVEST JSC briefed participants with the company's activities and support measures that can be provided to investors within the framework of state projects, including the procedure for supporting investors in the preparation and implementation of investment projects.
Also, Zhasulan Kenzhin, the head of the service development and customer support sector of KOREM JSC and Representatives of RFC for RES Support LLP, Assel Kalimova, Zamira Akhmetova, explained the process of holding auctions and disclosed questions regarding the types of financial support, conditions, documents and report preparation terms.
