The development of relations with foreign partners is one of the strategic directions of JSC «KOREM».

As part of the work plan for mutual cooperation, on August 23, 2022, «KOREM» JSC held negotiations with representatives of USAID.

During the negotiations, the current status of the implementation of joint projects was assessed, tasks requiring completion in the third quarter of this year were identified, existing topical issues in the electricity and capacity market of the Republic of Kazakhstan were discussed

USAID experts also presented a report on the specifics of the functioning of the current model of the Market Council, demonstrated international experience and presented recommendations on reforming the work of the Electric Energy and Capacity Market Council.

Following the meeting, the activities and terms of cooperation on current and future tasks were agreed upon.
