JSC «KOREM» plans to hold an online seminar on the organization and conduct of auctions for the selection of projects for the construction of hydroelectric power plants in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

By Order of the Acting Minister of Energy No. 280 dated August 7, 2017, JSC «KOREM» was designated as the organizer of the auction, organizing and conducting the auction.

According to the auction schedule for 2023, approved by the Order of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 187 dated May 23, 2023, auctions for the selection of renewable energy projects for the construction of hydroelectric power plants in the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2023 will be held: August 31, September 1 and November 22.

Date of the seminar: July 25, 2023

Time of the event: 11.00 h. (according to Astana time)

Purpose of the seminar - clarification of questions on participation, support and preparation of auctions for RES for the construction of hydroelectric power plants.

Target audience - potential participants in RES auctions.

Seminar program:

• Implementation of renewable energy construction projects in Kazakhstan;
• RES auction schedule for 2023;
• Registration in the Organizer's trading system to participate in RES auctions;
• About trading sessions;
• Submission of bids for prices in the RES auction system;
• Calculation of auction prices;
• Auction results and further actions of the auction winners;
• About the possibilities of training «Work in the trading system» for potential participants of RES auctions.
