JSC «Kazakhstan Electric Energy and Capacity Market Operator» informs participants of centralized electric power auctions about the postponement of electric power auctions in the Northern and Southern zones of the Unified Electric Power System of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On the basis of Letter of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the date of centralized trading of electric capacity in the Northern and Southern zones of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan is postponed from November 17, 2023 to:

On  November 21, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. (Astana time), centralized auctions of electric power will be held in the Northern and Southern zones of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account the capacity of the North-South transmission line.

Centralized auctions of electric capacity in the Western zone of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan remain unchanged - November 20, 2023:

- from 10:00 a.m. (Astana time) in the Mangistau region of the Western zone of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account the capacity of the power transmission line towards the Mangistau power hub;

- from 16:00 h. (Astana time) joint bidding for the West Kazakhstan and Atyrau regions of the Western zone of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account the capacity of the power transmission line towards the West Kazakhstan power hub.
