On November 30, 2023, JSC «KOREM» held a seminar for newly hired employees to familiarize themselves with internal regulatory documents, in particular with the Rules of Labor Regulations and anti-corruption activities in the Company.

The seminar was conducted by the HR department together with the compliance officer in an online format, via videoconference.

During the seminar, the chief manager-head of the HR department Altynai Umirzakova, familiarized in detail with the content of the current Labor Regulations and other regulatory documents of the Company. She also noted the forms and methods of motivation acting to stimulate the improvement of the quality of work.

«The correct development and clear description of the Rules of labor regulations makes it possible in the future to avoid misunderstandings between the employer and the employee when resolving controversial issues and situations at work, and in case of violation of labor discipline», - noted that at the end of her speech, a HR Officer.

In turn, compliance officer Bulat Baymuratuly notified about the ongoing anti-corruption activities. He told me what misconduct, confidential information, corruption and conflict of interest are. He noted that the above-mentioned internal regulatory documents are posted on the Company's official website in the compliance officer's blog. At the end of the seminar, the compliance officer indicated that the Company's official website contains information about the unified hotline of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, about the established trust box in the Company, and about the availability of contacting the Anti-Corruption Service call center at 1424 (the call is free).
