The expert of JSC «KOREM» took part in the program «Green Economy: energy saving policy»
On November 15, 2024, Ruslan Nurmaganbetov, Managing Director for Finance and Business Support, Member of the Management Board of «Kazakhstan electricity and power market operator» JSC, took part in the program "Green Economy: Energy Saving Policy" on 24kz TV channel.
Together with him, representatives of the Kazakhstan’s Energy Ministry, JSC «Electric Power and Energy saving Development Institute », NJSC «International Center for Green Technologies and Investment Projects» took part in the discussion.
The prospects for the development of renewable energy sources, the importance of energy conservation and the impact of the "green economy" on the sustainable development of Kazakhstan were discussed.
Ruslan Aimurzievich outlined the mechanism of conducting auctions, their effectiveness and impact on reducing the marginal cost of renewable energy projects. He also paid special attention to the role of domestic and foreign investors actively involved in the implementation of green energy projects.
The experts stressed the importance of integrating renewable energy into everyday life.
