On December 11, 2024, as part of the round table discussion "Review of the Year’s Results in the Development of Renewable Energy in Kazakhstan in 2024," an award ceremony for achievements in renewable energy was held, organized by the Renewable Energy Association "Qazaq Green".

For his significant personal contribution to the development of renewable energy in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alexander Leonidovich Ten, Chief Manager of the Market Development Department at JSC "Kazakhstan Electricity and Power Market Operator" (KOREM), was honored with the badge of distinction "Leader in Renewable Energy."

Alexander Ten is a highly qualified professional with over 14 years of experience in the energy sector. He is a recipient of the "Bolashak" international scholarship of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and holds a master's degree in electrical engineering and computer engineering. Throughout his career, Alexander has actively participated in addressing key issues related to the development of renewable energy, drafting proposals for amendments to the regulatory framework in the electricity sector, promoting local production of renewable energy components in Kazakhstan, and organizing auctions for project selection for the construction of renewable energy facilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, achieving record reductions in auction prices.
