  Technical audit of electric power plants has been continued in the country. The preliminary deadline for the completion of the technical audit is scheduled for the 1st quarter of 2023. The technical audit of the power plant is carried out by order of the Ministry of Energy with the support of the World Bank.  The WB competition for the first stage of the technical audit was won by a consortium of companies including KPMG India, KPMG Kazakhstan and Acelerex Inc., the local coordinator of the project is JSC «Kazakhstan Electricity and Capacity Market Operator» (JSC «KOREM»).
Based on the results of the technical audit, the main proposals and recommendations will be prepared to reduce physical wear, improve the reliability of operation and safe operation of power equipment of energy sources.
