KAZENERGY FORUM and WORLD ENERGY WEEK will bring together experts from 100 countries
From 4 to 7 October, the attention of the entire world energy community will be drawn to the capital of Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan.
“Energy for the good of humanity” will be the topic of discussion at the main international event in the energy sector - the XIV Eurasian Forum KAZENERGY and World Energy Week, which will be held in digital format.
The project demonstrates the potential of international cooperation, and also emphasizes the authority and recognition of the national platform in the development of new mechanisms for the development of Kazakhstani and world energy.
Global digital plenary sessions from Nur-Sultan and London will discuss industry-critical topics such as “Leadership: Confidence in Uncertainty”, “Balancing Fairness, Sustainability and Security in Energy Regions”, “Energy 2.0: Technology Advancement and Digital client ”,“ Energy for Humanity: Achieving Abundance in a World of Scarcity ”. Discussions of the program sessions will be built around one of the most pressing topics for the region - “Fuel of the future. Regional Perspectives: Asia and the Asia-Pacific Region ”,“ Energy of Central Asia: New National Initiatives and Partnerships ”,“ Energy Transition and Competition for Resources ”,“ Petrochemicals: Technological Trends and Competencies ”,“ Carbon Neutrality and Sustainable Energy: New Opportunities for Kazakhstan ”and others.
During the forum, the V National Energy Report KAZENERGY will be presented. First, the impact of COVID-19 on global energy markets in 2020 will be examined and assessed, including related changes in IHS Markit's projections of the global fuel and energy balance for the period up to 2050. It will also highlight major green policy developments and private sector responses to such initiatives. Recommendations for the development of the energy sector, given in the "Report-2021", should contribute to the development of the energy complex of Kazakhstan in the direction of environmentally friendly development.
Within the framework of the Eurasian Forum, the traditional ones will be held: the KAZENERGY Youth Forum, the Women's Energy Club Forum and the Student Energy Challenge and Student Digital Fest contests.
Key speakers of the forum include heads of the world's leading energy companies, non-governmental organizations, and government agencies. The organizers of this largest event are the international organization World Energy Council (WEC) and the KAZENERGY Association with the support of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
