KOREM JSC has accepted the Advisory Mission of the Asian Development Bank
On February 19, 2025, KOREM JSC hosted a meeting of the Advisory Mission of the Office for Market Development and Public-Private Partnership of the Asian Development Bank on the issues of the Hydroelectric Development Program. The event was supported by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the auction schedule for 2025-2026, considered possible changes to the auction rules, the main terms of the Electricity Purchase Agreement (PPA), as well as the allocation of land for the implementation of HPP projects.
The working meeting allowed the parties to exchange views and identify key steps for the further development of hydropower in Kazakhstan.
