On March 27, 2025 on the site of KOREM JSC an online seminar on organization and conduct of auction bidding for selection of projects for construction of WPP, SES, HPP and BioPP in Kazakhstan was held.

The seminar was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, LLP “Settlement and Financial Center for RES”, JSC “NC ‘KAZAKH INVEST’.

Leyla Omarkhanova, Head of the RES Development Directorate of the Renewable Energy Department of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, described in her speech the mechanism of RES project implementation in detail.

Alexander Ten, Chief Manager of the Market Development Department of KOREM JSC, made a presentation on “Auction Bidding: Renewable Energy Sources”, telling the history of RES development in Kazakhstan, the algorithm of actions for participation in RES auction bidding and the terms of bidding.

Zamira Akhmetova, Director of Development and Planning Department of LLP “Settlement and Financial Center for RES” informed the participants of the online seminar about financial support of auction bidding and RES power purchase agreement.

Isa Kudabekov, Deputy Director of the Projects Department of JSC “NC ‘KAZAKH INVEST’, informed about the measures of state support for investment activities in the RES sector.

At the end of the seminar, a question-and-answer session was organized for the participants, in which they took an active part.
