The following initial parameters were provided by a Single buyer and a System operator in JSC «KOREM» to conduct centralized auctions of electric power

  • the projected demand for electric power in the Northern and Southern zones of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan is 6044.4 MW, including 4506.1 MW in the Northern zone of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan and 1538.3 MW in the Southern zone of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan
  • The capacity of power transmission lines connecting the Northern and Southern zones of the UES RK is 900 MW;

The maximum tariff for the service for maintaining the availability of electric power is 590 thousand tenge/MW per month (excluding VAT).

23 energy-producing organizations took part in centralized auctions of electric capacity.

According to the results of centralized auctions of electric capacity, the total volume of sold capacity in the Northern and Southern zones of the UEN of the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 6044.4 MW, including 4506.1 MW in the Northern zone of the UEN of the Republic of Kazakhstan and 1538.3 MW in the Southern zone of the UEN of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The number of transactions concluded in the trading system was 23. The weighted average price according to the results of centralized trading of electric capacity was 589.96 thousand tenge/MW per month (excluding VAT).

The total volume of applications of energy-producing organizations submitted to the trading system amounted to 7616 MW.
