The main topic of discussion was the development of Kazakh-Chinese relations in the field of renewable energy, including the implementation of renewable energy projects, planning of large-scale projects with the equipment of energy storage systems, summing up the results of past auctions, the possibility of localization of the production of towers, etc.

The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC «Kazakhstan Electric Energy and Capacity Market Operator» (KOREM), JSC «Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company» (KEGOG), LLP "RFC for Renewable Energy", took an active part in the conference.

Chairman of the Board of JSC «KOREM» Rakhimov K.B. made a report at the conference, in his speech he dwelt in detail on the development of the renewable energy sector in the country, spoke about the rules and procedures for conducting auctions in Kazakhstan, shared his experience in the development of the renewable energy sector, as well as the results of the auction for 2022.

During the conference, a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of renewable energy was signed between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and SPIC CHINA POWER INTERNATIONAL HOLDING LIMITED.

In general, this event was a successful platform for considering and discussing the most important aspects and issues facing the industry today.
