How to avoid mistakes in paperwork in the Kazakh language: a training webinar was held in JSC «KOREM»
JSC «KOREM» held a webinar for the company's employees on the topic: Common mistakes in paperwork in the Kazakh language". The event was held by an employee of the Administrative department Kenzhegalieva Gaukhar Aybulatovna, who shared with the participants important aspects of competent documentation in the state language.
As part of the webinar, the main mistakes that are most often made when translating and processing business documentation in the Kazakh language were highlighted. Among them is the use of extra commas, which is caused by differences in the punctuation rules between the Russian and Kazakh languages. Particular attention was paid to the problem of tracing, which arises when translating from Russian. Gaukhar Aybulatovna noted that blind copying of syntax and phraseology is not always appropriate, since the Kazakh language has its own unique grammatical and stylistic features.
In addition, the participants of the webinar were explained the nuances associated with the semantics of Kazakh words, since translation without taking into account semantic shades often leads to distortion of meanings. One of the most important emphasis was placed on the rules for using plural endings, which also often causes errors in paperwork.
At the end of the webinar, participants were given the opportunity to take a specially prepared test in the Kazakh language. The test allowed each employee to identify the mistakes that they most often make when conducting paperwork in Kazakh.
Holding such a training event aimed at improving the language literacy and professional skills of employees, emphasizes the commitment of JSC «KOREM» to the company's policy of supporting the state language and developing corporate culture.
