USAID Gathers Deputy Energy Ministers of Central Asian Countries to Advance Regional Electricity Market
Deputy energy ministers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, along with USAID's regional mission director, met to discuss the CAREM roadmap and the creation of an Intergovernmental Council to coordinate the regional electricity market, aimed at improving reliability, growth and cross-border electricity trade.
